A simple yet classic fully adjustable penholder from the
premier Penmanship/Calligraphy company, Ziller of Kansas City. The pen staff
is a gray plastic one with a custom fitted brass flange that has quite a bit of
adjustability. The dies used to form it are set for nibs like the 101 and 303,
however we can adjust up to a Hiro 40, which is quite large, or down to an EF66,
which is quite small in comparison. The pen staff is reasonably priced making
it a great choice for the novice as well as the experienced pen artist.

A word about Ziller of Kansas City:
Ziller of Kansas City is an engrossing (calligraphy) art studio
that was founded by Frederick W. Tamblyn in 1895. At that time Tamblyn also
began the Tamblyn School of Penmanship that was a correspondence course
program. Over Tamblyn's lifetime it is estimated that he worked with more than
40,000 students. In 1933, Stephen A. Ziller, a Zanerian College graduate, came
to work for F. W. Tamblyn. Three years later Ziller purchased the studio and
later changed the name to Ziller of Kansas City. The current proprietors, Vivian
and Richard Mungall became partners with Stephen Ziller in 1985. Vivian was
recently inducted as a Master Penman by IAMPETH. As the head Engrosser at
Ziller of KC, she continues to create high-grade resolutions, awards, scrolls,
certificates, diplomas, and other recognition awards and also offers a wide variety
of business gifts and promotional merchandise. Most calligraphers already know
about the wonderful Ziller Inks
they produce.
